BABYVILLE — Before children learn to speak in a comprehensive manner, they go through a solid babbling phase. They coo and goo and babble more than a babbling brook.
But one little girl has left all babbling brooks in the dust by chatting to her papa with the same speed and unstoppability of a raging river — an adorable raging river.
We can only assume, as the girl’s mother’s questions imply, that the little girl is regaling her dad with tales of her playdate and all the playground gossip: Who played with what, how many goldfish crackers were consumed and who was wearing the latest in baby fashions.
Once the girl gets to talking, she really gets talking, and her dad reminds her, “You might need to breathe.”
While this much babbling for a baby may break the cute-o-meter, let’s hope that as a teen she never sits behind any of us at the movies.
