DOWN UNDER Well, I found it. I found a video that will keep me from maybe ever wanting to travel to Australia.
I know, I know. They have pristine beaches and the famous Sydney Opera House. Theyve got kangaroos, the Great Ocean Road and plumbing systems that flush the opposite direction (allegedly). One thing might cancel all that out, though, and thats Huntsman spiders and the fact that a video recently captured one carrying a mouse across a vertical surface.
Yeah, I got it. Huntsman spiders arent deadly to humans. But they are enormous, and a video posted by Mic De Pino to YouTube of the massive, oven-mitt sized arachnid carrying a dead mouse across a fridge will have me dry heaving for days.
While the guy filming is able to nonchalantly wonder what the spider is going to do with the deceased Fivel and remark that, Man, that is so cool, Ill be over here trying to wash away the fear that never left after I saw Jeff Daniels star in a little flick called Arachnophobia that is starting to look more like a Sundance documentary.
No wonder an Aussie had the police called on him for screaming when he saw one of those bad boys.
