SALT LAKE CITY — A woman who lost her wedding ring over 15 years ago was shocked when her husband of 38 years proposed to her again with the lost ring. And her priceless reaction was caught on video.

Lacey Butler's mom lost her wedding ring over 15 years ago.

“We searched the house high and low for months,” Butler wrote on YouTube, but the family had given up hope of trying to find it. Her mom and dad assumed it was lost at work or it had been stolen.

When her dad found the ring stashed in a little wooden box in a closet a few weeks ago, he decided to surprise his wife on camera.

"We knew reuniting (my mom and the ring) was going to be emotional enough but dad and I had to add a twist," Butler wrote.

Butler's dad enters the garage where her mom is rummaging around in a pantry. He drops to one knee but her mom gives him a look of annoyance and continues whatever she's working on. When her mom finally realizes what he's holding, she falls to the floor in shock. Watch the video above for the complete reaction.
