Mr. and Mrs. Brent Gene Howell of Guyton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Lynn Howell, to Tyler Hunt Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie James Jenkins of Rincon.

Katie is a graduate of South Effingham High School and is attending the Technical College of the Lowcountry. She is pursuing her associate’s degree in nursing. Tyler is a graduate of South Effingham High School and Armstrong State University with a degree in criminal justice.

A June wedding is planned at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church in Savannah.
