Trinity Lutheran Church from Ohio sent its youth group to Manna House to volunteer its time in outreach missions. This is the group’s second year coming to Effingham County to volunteer at various places during its week-long stay at New Ebenezer Retreat Center.

Manna House executive director Lisa Bush said Manna House is grateful for the youth group’s willingness to give back in helping those in need in the community. Manna House food pantry and thrift store is open Monday noon-3 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information or to make donations, contact Bush at 665-1985.
