CRTCs Wright earns promotion

Master Sgt. Issac “Ice” Wright has earned promotion to the senior non-commissioned officers’ rank of senior master sergeant.

Sr. Master Sgt. Wright serves as the Airfield Manager for Flight Operations at Savannah’s Combat Readiness Training Center, Georgia Air National Guard. The CRTC is headquartered across the airfield from the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport.

Senior master sergeants are experienced operational leaders, skilled at merging their personnel’s talents, skills, and resources with other teams’ functions to most effectively accomplish the mission.

Sr. Master Sgt. Wright has scheduled and coordinated the deployments of more than 600 military, government and civilian organizations with a mission impact exceeding 225,000 National Guard training days and their proper execution at the CRTC. Additionally, he assisted in the planning and execution of a $12 million airfield ramp renovation project for the readiness center providing all-new parking for all types of military aircraft in the current inventory to include fifth generation fighters.

Wright and his family reside in Rincon.
