The Effingham County Hussars Chapter No. 2285 United Daughters of the Confederacy presented a book to the Live Oak Library Springfield Branch on April 9 entitled, “Heroines of Georgia 1861-1865.” The book is a biographical dictionary by Tommie Phillips LaCavera.
