The second annual Effingham Dancing with the Stars, a fundraising event to benefit Effingham County Victim Witness Assistance Program Inc., will be Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served during intermission.

The event will be held at Effingham County High School. Dr. James Cornwell, Adam Kobek, Heather Sandstrom, Richard Mallard, Stephanie Johnson, Jinzy Hinely, Chances Bowers, Honey Jo Sentor, John Henry and Sherlock Holmes will be dancing for your votes.

Don Logana from WTOC will be the master of ceremonies and Chief Magistrate Scott Hinson returns as a judge.

Online voting will be an option, with details to be announced soon. Votes are $1 and voters can vote as often as they wish.

 
All money received through online voting goes to Effingham County Victim Witness Assistance Program.
