Effingham Health System invites community members to attend a special one-day event to learn more about the wide variety of healthcare services available on the expanded campus.
On Friday, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., staff will be on hand in the hospital’s community room to answer questions about the types of advanced medical services available, while members of the Effingham Health System team will be offering free blood pressure screenings.
Since opening the new facility in January, Effingham has grown its team of health care providers, and now offers 24-hour customer service along with world class surgeons providing expert care in a patient-centered and healing environment. With the advances made in technology and in the new state-of-the-art surgical suite, these accomplished surgeons are performing a wider variety of more complex procedures.
In addition to sharing details about the advances that have been made in the surgery department, hospital leaders believe it’s important for the community to know that Effingham Health System is a window to a world of healthcare waiting to be discovered. Services that will be featured include:
•24-hour emergency care
•Bone density testing
•EKGs and echocardiogram
•Long-term skilled care
•X-ray, CT and MRI
