Manna House has partnered with Georgia Hunting and Fishing Federation through Sportsmen Against Hunger Pantry to assist families in need. Local deer processors accept unwanted venison from hunters.  These donations are processed into burgers  which are very helpful to families.

Recently Zollers Deer Processing of Springfield donated more than 400 pounds of venison. Food pantries often struggle to find proteins and meats to place in the boxes they give away. Manna House is very grateful and excited to be able to help more families by donation, said director Lisa Bush.

During November, Manna House assisted 303 families with a food box in addition to also assisting 579 households with Thanksgiving boxes for a total of 2,820 people served during the month.

If you are interested in making a donation or need help with food assistance  call Manna House at 826-2037. Hours of operation are Monday from noon-3 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Manna House is at 1210 Patriot Dr.  Rincon, across from YMCA.
