The Clyo Masonic Lodge No. 280 presented a gift on loan to the Historic Effingham Society Museum.

HES members received a 1912 U.S. flag that bears 48 stars and a 1959 U.S. flag that bears 49 stars.

Two veterans, James T. Sapp, a World War II veteran, and Ernest Edwards, a Vietnam veteran, received the flags as a Labor Day gift.

Representing the Masonic Lodge were Brian Cullinan, Robert S. Porter and Ashley A. Morgan.
