McPherson promoted to chief master sergeant

Senior Master Sgt. Reginald McPherson has been promoted to chief master sergeant, the highest rank that can be attained by a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force. 
 
Chief Master Sgt. McPherson received a personal notice of the promotion to the grade of chief master sergeant from Maj. Gen. William T. Nesbitt, commander, Georgia National Guard.
 
Chief Master Sgt. “Reggie” McPherson is the full-time logistics readiness squadron operations compliance superintendent for the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard.
 
He is a 30-year military veteran, a lifetime member of the Air Force Association and the Enlisted Association of the Air National Guard. He also serves as a board member for Combined Federal Campaign, Local Federal Coordinating Committee, Inner City Night Shelter, and is a member of the alumni association for the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club.
 
McPherson is a member of St. Paul CME Church, and he and his family reside in Rincon.
