Rotary makes a connection

The Noon and Sunrise Rotary Clubs of Effingham County combined their efforts to apply for and receive an approximately $1,200 grant from Rotary International to support Effingham Connect (formerly the Center for Working Families).

E-Connect will put the grant funds toward supplies and resources to help working families get back on their feet.

Along with the grant, members of both clubs will commit volunteer hours in areas such as interview preparation, budget planning, financial education and computer training.
