Effingham County Cooperative Extension Coordinator Bill Tyson was the guest speaker at the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club on March 18.

The Extension agent gave information and tips about lawn and landscaping management during spring. The Rotarians had specific questions about fertilizing grass, weed control, tree diseases and controlling armadillos and other pests. Anyone may telephone the Extension Office with their lawn management questions.

The Sunrise Rotary Club meets at the Guyton Christian Church Center, 105 Third St. in Guyton, Tuesday mornings at 7:30 a.m.
