Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Savannah announces the unveiling of its new Web site. It is more user friendly than the previous Web site.
Once logged onto the Web site, perhaps the most obvious change is the appearance. But, there are also several new tools available. For example, there are various forms used in assisting CCCS clients that can be viewed and printed. Plus, there is an option to view video of CCCS President Sonny Colley. In addition, there is a new “bankruptcy” section designed to educate potential clients on the prevention, abuse and consequences of bankruptcy.
“We’re really excited about this new Web site,” Colley said. “We’ve been helping people in and around Savannah for several years now, so this is just another way we can be of service.”
The Web site is available for consumers.
CCCS of Savannah was established in 1965. It is a non-profit community based organization that helps people manage debt by setting up a budget and payment plan. To date, the local CCCS offices have returned more than $70 million to creditors; money that would have otherwise gone unpaid or been lost to bankruptcy.
CCCS of Savannah is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening appointments are available at 4:30 and 6 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The office is located at 7505 Waters Ave., Suite C-11. For more information, log on to www.cccssavannah.org or call (912) 691-2227.
