The Effingham Chamber of Commerce will host a special business after hours event for area small business owners and managers on Dec. 6.

‘This will be a casual get together for the people in our area who keep business going,” said Chamber Director Rick Lott. “The event is free and will be open from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Business owners and managers are welcome to drop in during that time and enjoy refreshments and an opportunity to network with others in our area. It is open to both Chamber members and non-members and all are welcome.”

“The Effingham Chamber promotes doing business locally and this will be a great opportunity for our local business people to come together, relax and get to know each other,” said Chamber President Talbert Edenfield.

There will be door prizes given during the event.

The after hours event will be held at the joint IDA/Chamber offices at the corner of Highway 21 and West 3rd Avenue in Springfield.
