GSU to offer manager training

Georgia Southern University will present a new section of its supervisor-training course from Sept. 23-Nov. 11 in Savannah.

“Leadership Skills for the Front-Line Manager” sessions will run for eight Wednesday mornings at the Coastal Georgia Center. Registration closes today at 5 p.m.

Each class in the 32-hour non-credit course covers one topic, such as legal concerns for supervisors, handling conflict and criticism, or effective methods of coaching employees. Registration is $600 per participant, with a corporate discount rate of $550 each for four or more from the same organization. To register, call (912) 478-1763.
