EMC Engineering Services, Inc. announces the promotion of Alec B. Metzger, P.E., to branch manager of the Statesboro branch office.

Upon his graduation from the University of Georgia in 1999, Metzger joined the staff of EMC’s corporate office in Savannah.  In 2005,

Metzger obtained his registration as a professional civil engineer and was invited to become an Associate Owner in the firm. 
During his tenure with the firm, Metzger’s responsibilities have included engineering design, plan development, and project management for various land development projects. His experience includes work on residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.

Metzger holds dual registration in Georgia and South Carolina and is a GSWCC Level II Certified Design Professional.

Metzger also serves on EMC’s board of directors.  He lives in Springfield with his wife Cindy and two children, Graham and Riley.
