SBDC holding startup workshop

A workshop entitled “Starting a Business” will be held July 21. It is a three-hour class that begins at 6 p.m.

The workshop will be held at the Small Business Resource Center, 111 E. Liberty St. in Savannah. The cost is $69 per person and includes the cost of class materials. There is special pricing for two or more people attending together.

The workshop is co-sponsored by The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business.

The session will also cover the traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for business, estimating start-up costs and cash flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors, and business planning.
