Officials of the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce are gearing up for this year’s Holiday Classic Business and Craft Expo set for Sunday from noon-4:30 p.m. at Effingham County High School. Admission is free.

“We are really excited about this year’s show and expect another record turnout,” said Brooke Burns, chair of the Chamber’s Marketing and Special Events Committee. “Over 2,500 people attended last year’s event and we expect to see the same or larger crowd this year.”

This year’s event includes a classic car show to benefit the Springfield Revitalization Corporation, free pictures with Santa, special holiday and Christmas displays, Christmas tree and wreath auctions to benefit area non-profits and live local entertainment.

The Effingham 4-H club will host the annual Christmas dinner. Tickets for the meal are $8 and can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce or at the Extension Office.

For more information please contact the Chamber at 754-3301. For classic car show information, call Barbara Oglesby at 826-0826; for meal tickets, call the Chamber at 754-3301 or the Extension Office at 754-8040.
