Effingham County commissioners and staff are reviewing the contract from the Effingham Hospital and are discussing comments and proposed changes from the hospital and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

“This is a little bit different,” County Administrator David Crawley said of the proposed changes to the agreement. “We need to go through our changes, but this is a revised contract.”

County attorney Eric Gotwalt said the revisions include taking out certain provisions the county had requested.
