ECSO busts three meth labs over two days

The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Drug Suppression Unit has busted three meth labs in two days. 
 
Investigators located a methamphetamine lab at a residence in the 400 block of High Bluff Road on Tuesday evening where one person was taken into custody. Joseph Burnsed, 31, of Rincon, was arrested and charged with criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamine. 
 
Wednesday morning, drug investigators located another methamphetamine lab in 900 block of Deerfield Road East. Ashley Scarborough, 27, of Bloomingdale, was arrested and charged with criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamine after several items were located inside the residence indicating methamphetamine had been manufactured. Scarborough was out on probation for various methamphetamine charges at the time of her arrest.
