The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested a wanted Guyton man early Friday morning in Chatham County. 

Deputies captured Lee Allen Goldwire, 26, in a residence off Quacco Road after receiving information Goldwire was in a home in the Sea Breeze Trailer Park.

According to the ECSO, surveillance teams were deployed and Goldwire was located and apprehended without incident by Effingham deputies.  

Goldwire was wanted for trafficking, manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and probation violation. 

Goldwire was taken to the Effingham County Jail. Bond has not been set.

Shortly after midnight on Dec. 17, 2014, deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the city limits of Guyton around Central Boulevard. A short time later, deputies found the vehicle. When approached by deputies, Goldwire fled.
