Guilty pleas entered in several child sex cases

A Rincon man was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 10 years probation after he pled guilty last month to child pornography charges.

Kenneth John Conti entered his plea March 15 after pleading guilty to using the Internet to meet who he thought he was a 15-year-old girl for a sexual encounter. Authorities arrested him after he traveled to an arranged meeting spot for the tryst in late June 2015. He was indicted in September.

Conti will be given credit for time served.

A Barnwell, S.C., man entered an Alford plea March 1 on one count of child pornography.

Juston Williamson received 10 years in prison and 10 years of probation. Williamson also was charged with using the Internet to meet who he thought was a 15-year-old girl for sex on July 3, 2015.

Possession of child pornography led a Bloomingdale man receiving 10 years probation and a $1,000 fine. David Allen May pled guilty to one count of sexual exploitation for distributing a video of a minor engaged in sexual activity and possession of two other videos in June 2014.
