Life without parole plus 20 in toddlers death

An Effingham County man found guilty of murdering a toddler was sentenced to life without parole plus 20 years Wednesday afternoon.
 
Ogeechee Judicial Circuit Chief Judge William E. Woodrum Jr. handed down the sentence to Lester Casey Griffin at the Effingham County Judicial Complex. 
 
“You’ll spend the rest of your life in the state prison system,” Judge Woodrum told Griffin.
