Effingham Health System adds Wilk as chief information officer

Effingham Health System recently welcomed Terry Wilk as chief information officer (CIO).

Wilk has more than 40 years of leadership experience in healthcare information technology. As a four-time CIO, his expansive expertise includes IT strategic planning and governance, organizational design, vendor selection  and complex IT system implementation. 

Wilk earned his Master of Business Administration, Management Information Systems from Case Western Reserve University. His professional affiliations include College of Healthcare Information Management Executive (CHIME), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)/Consultants Forum and Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

Wilk will provide executive oversight, aligning the growth and sustainability of EHS with innovation and expansion into new technological advances. His leadership will optimize Effingham Health System’s ability to provide the best possible care and outcomes for  patients.

Friends of Manna House is fundraising in August to renovate the busy food pantry parking lot. The community is invited to shop donated décor and support the project.
