Hello, Effingham County!

I am excited to spread the word about a very exciting event that will be taking place in the coming weeks!

After working side-by-side with the City of Springfield Downtown Development Authority, we have planned a Springfield Farmers Market to come to Cleveland Street in June. This market will be a mixture of agribusinesses with produce and processed goods, as well as crafts vendors.

Join us each Tuesday in June under the Cleveland Street oak trees from 3-7 p.m. to support our local farmers and craftsmen. Food trucks are invited and will vary each week.

This market will give agribusinesses in this community and surrounding area an opportunity to share their products with y’all all in one spot!

You can find out more information by calling (912) 754-7617 or (912) 754-8040, or by going to DDASpringfieldGA.com/Market.

If you have any questions, suggestions or want further information, give me a call at or stop by the Effingham County Extension Office, (912)754-8040, 501 N. Richland Ave., Rincon.
