The Historic Effingham Society received an award from the Georgia Historical Society on Thursday during the GHS’ annual meeting for the Seckinger-Bridgers House. Monteen Crawford, president of the Historic Effingham Society, accepted the award on behalf of the historic society. The house is at the living history site at 1002 Pine Street in Springfield.
