ATLANTA — Speaker David Ralston recently announced his appointees to the Georgia Joint Defense Commission. Those appointees are:
— Rep. Dave Belton (R-Buckhead)
— Rep. Shaw Blackmon (R-Bonaire)
— Rep. Bill Hitchens (R-Rincon)
— Rep. Al Williams (D-Midway)
Established by Senate Bill 395, the Georgia Joint Defense Commission will advise the Governor and General Assembly on defense and military issues with the goal of supporting the long-term viability and development of the military, both active-duty and civilian, in Georgia.
