The City of Rincon is currently conducting a city manager search and has released the name of the candidate that is under final consideration: Jonathan Lynn of Hogansville.

Former City Manager John Klimm resigned in May after serving four years in the role.

Lynn resigned as Hogansville's city manager in June, having served two years. He didn't reveal a reason for his departure but told the LaGrange Daily News in a prepared statement, "Mayor and council reached a mutual decision for me to resign as city manager. I have enjoyed my time in Hogansville, am very proud of what has been accomplished in the two years I have served as city manager and hope for a bright future for city City of Hogansville as well as whatever future endeavors are in store for me."

Lynn was the county administrator in Surry County, Virginia, from March 2019-June 2020.
