Ottawa Farms to host car show Sept. 21

The B-Dale Bash Car Show is set for Sept. 21 at Ottawa Farms in Bloomingdale.

The event, which runs from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. features a Dukes of Hazzard display with “General Lee” and other Hazzard vehicles, a meet-and-greet with Tom Wopat (Luke Duke), and special appearances with Burt Reynolds and Forrest Gump look-alikes.

Entry fees are $25 for show cars, $12 for spectators, and free for kids age 12 and under. Bring a nonperishable food donation and receive $2 off admission. Show car registration begins at 9 a.m. with awards presented at 3:30 p.m.

In addition to the car show, there will be more than 12 food trucks, kids’ zone with bounce houses, vendors, crafts, raffle prizes, and a 50/50 drawing. A portion of the proceeds will support local charities.

A Guyton woman has been charged with murder in her husband’s death after police found him dead Tuesday at a Pine Street home. Jennifer Underwood was arrested, and authorities said the case remains under investigation.
