Two victims of Monday morning's plane crash at the Effingham-Bryan county line near Ellabell have been identified.

The Bryan County Emergency Management Agency said William Byron Cocke and Catherine Cocke died in the crash in dense woods. The pilot of the small craft has not been identified.

The plane was reportedly headed to Cobb County after taking off from Savannah. Air traffic controllers lost contact with the plane shortly after it departed the airport.
