Rincon mayor named to Georgia Municipal Association Board of Directors

SAVANNAH -- Rincon Mayor Ken Lee was elected to the board of directors for the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) during the association’s June 23 annual meeting.

 

Lee will serve as president of GMA’s 12th District. The district includes cities in the following counties: Screven, Bulloch, Effingham, Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, McIntosh, Glynn and Camden.

 

“We are pleased to have Mayor Lee serving in this leadership position,” GMA Executive Director Larry Hanson said. “The district president serves an important role as a representative of the district and as a liaison for GMA within the region.”

 

Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides legislative advocacy, educational, employee benefit and technical assistance services to its 538 member cities.
