A search that began Sunday for a missing Effingham County man continued into Monday.

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office is looking for Douglas Lee Morris, 42, of Guyton, who was reported to be missing by his family. He has been missing since Sunday afternoon, according to the ECSO.

Morris may be traveling in a gold Chevrolet truck with Georgia tag BQL 4857.

He is on medication but currently does not have it with him.

Morris' family fears for his safety, said ECSO spokesman Detective David Ehsanipoor.
