• Josh Reddick, Portland Sea Dogs (AA) — Reddick is hitting .288. He now has six home runs and seven RBIs for the season and his OPS remains a stellar 1.002. Reddick is on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Pawtucket after going on the disabled list with an oblique strain.

• Austin Chambliss, Tulsa Drillers (AA) — The former SEHS ace is 1-1 with a 3.86 earned run average in four appearances in Double-A. He has fanned four in 4 2/3 innings and has not walked a batter since his promotion. For the season, he is a combined 2-1 with a 2.77 ERA.

Baseball

• Colby May, Georgia — The freshman third baseman had two doubles and drove in two runs in a 7-4 loss to South Carolina on Friday. For the season, May is hitting .343 with 11 home runs and 41 runs batted in. The Bulldogs (35-20, 15-15 SEC) will open the SEC tournament Wednesday against Ole Miss.

• Dylan Scott, Midde Georgia — The Warriors took a best-of-three series from Volunteer State to earn the East Central District championship and a berth in the JUCO World Series, to be played May 23-30 in Grand Junction, Colo.
