Effingham County’s Khiry Wallace, Keion Wallace, Shemar Westbrook and Jaquez Brown were named to the All-Region 2-AAAAAA boys basketball team by 2-AAAAAA coaches.

. Khiry Wallace and and Keion Wallace made the first team, averaging 10.9 and 11.4 points, respectively, for the 17-10 Rebels. 

Westbrook and Brown were tabbed for the second team after averaging 8.1 and 4.3 points, respectively.

Rising senior Jayden Hair scored three touchdowns and flashed elite speed during South Effingham’s first summer football scrimmages. With a strong track background and growing leadership role, Hair is emerging as a key two-way contributor as the Mustangs look to rebound from a winless 2024 season.
