Rebels snag region volleyball crown; Mustangs to join them in state playoffs

Effingham County won the Region 2-AAAAAA volleyball cChampionship Saturday, topping Glynn Academy 3-1 in the finals. It's the first volleyball region title for the Rebels since 2016. 

The South Effingham Mustangs placed fourth and also advanced to the state tourney.

 The Rebels will host a state first round match Wednesday.
