GUYTON -- Allie Ergle socked three hits Thursday as South Effingham's softball team improved to 8-0 with a 5-0 Region 2-AAAAA win over Statesboro. Ergle's hits produced one RBI. Winning pitcher Kastin Belogorska had one hit and two RBI. Alex Brown had one run-scoring base knock. Hailey Pinette chipped in a double. Belogorska logged eight strikeouts with one walk.
