Ethan Christmas finished seventh in the 1,600-meter run for boys 12 and under at the Georgia Recreation and Parks state track meet, held in Augusta.

Christmas was one of four Effingham finalists from the district meet. He also ran in the 400-meter dash. Other Effingham participants were Kristen Hint in the 14U girls 1,600 meter; Alexis Bolinger in the 14U girls 400 meter; and Joseph Burdick in the 12U boys 1,600.
