Men’s basketball
Demontrez Austin (South Georgia State College) — Austin had eight rebounds and one point in a 54-52 win over Central Georgia Tech. For the season, he is averaging 6.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
T.J. Rines (South Georgia) — Rines had three rebounds and three assists in the win over Central Georgia Tech.  He is averaging 2.2 and 1.8 assists per game.
Ryan Wilkins (Middle Georgia State College) — Wilkins is averaging 6.3 points per game. Middle Georgia returns to action Jan. 5 at USC Salkehatchie.
Jay Wright (Casper College) — Wright had seven points, four assists and five rebounds as the Thunderbirds beat entered the Christmas break with a 72-67 win over Western Wyoming CC. He is averaging 15.3 points, 4.2 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game.


Women’s basketball
Hannah Anderson (Converse College) — Anderson has played in seven games for the Valkyries (0-9), scoring a total of 11 points and pulling down four rebounds.
Amy Jameson (College of Coastal Georgia) — Jameson is averaging 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game for the Lady Mariners, who are 14-0. Coastal Georgia is off until Jan. 10 when the Lady Mariners host William Carey.


Football
Tover Allen (Alabama State) — Allen, a junior offensive tackle, was named to the all-Southwestern Athletic Conference second team by College Sports Madness.
