Ebenezer Elementary brings Georgia history to life

Second-graders at Ebenezer Elementary School put on a “living museum” to celebrate Georgia Day and highlight famous Georgians.

It was coordinated by second-grade teacher Tania Kessler and gifted/talented teacher Valerie Cole.

Effingham County High School introduced its new mascot, Rowdy the Rebel, this week. Inspired by popular sports mascots, Rowdy will appear at school events, pep rallies, and games, giving students a fresh way to engage and celebrate school spirit.
