On Nov. 11, Effingham County High School FBLA officers traveled to Athens to attend the Fall Leadership Conference. The officers participated in different leadership workshops based on the office they hold.

One group of officers formed a team and competed in the Battle of the Chapters to test their knowledge about FBLA. The other group formed a team to play in the the largest Monopoly tournament in Georgia.

During the conference, the students and their advisor attended the awards ceremony to find out how the students performed in the open testing competition at the Fall Rally in Perry. Hannah Boyd placed second in business communications, Ashley Story placed second in health care administration, and Josie Alford placed first in sports management.   From left to right are Vanessa Williams, Kelsey Fulford, Michaela Williford, Hannah Boyd, Rajvi Dave and Josie Alford.
