Eighteen members of Effingham County High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter attended the 2013 Fall Motivational Rally/Competition in Perry.

Students were introduced to the FBLA state and region officers for the 2013-14 term. Award winners from the national conference were announced and congratulated, and all the local FBLA presidents took their oath of office. Students were entertained by motivational speaker Kevin Wanzer, who had them all laughing.

After the rally, all 18 ECHS students competed in events such as entrepreneurship, business communications, FBLA principals and procedures, health care administration, sports management, parliamentary procedures and hospitality management. Members then went out to the Georgia National Fair midway to enjoy an afternoon of fun on the array of rides, eating all the fair food they could stand and even trying their hand at winning some prizes.
