GSU announces presidents list and deans list

STATESBORO —  A Georgia Southern University student from Effingham County has been named to the president’s list for the summer 2009 term.

To be eligible for the president's list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Making the president’s list is:

Caleb H. Mock, a senior majoring in Transient-Undergraduate from Springfield.

Dean’s list
GSU students from Effingham County have been named to the dean’s list for the summer 2009 term.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Making the dean’s list were:

Catrena L. Akins, a senior from Guyton majoring in child and family development.

Dion J. Feddes, a senior from Springfield majoring in psychology.

Garin A. Oglesby, a junior from Meldrim majoring in middle grades education.

Heather E. Dasher, a junior from Rincon majoring in accounting.

Jessica H. Dennis, a sophomore from Bloomingdale majoring in writing and linguistics.

Jessica L. Sherrod, a senior from Bloomingdale majoring in middle grades education.

Kayla R. Spaulding is a sophomore from Rincon majoring in pre-nursing.

Kristen H. Ganas, a sophomore from Guyton majoring in pre-education: early childhood education.

Lehanna Rodriguez, a senior from Guyton majoring in psychology.

Spencer D. Martin, a senior from Rincon majoring in modern languages.

Victoria L. Atkinson, a senior from Rincon majoring in marketing.
