TIFTON — Shane Rahn of Rincon has been awarded a scholarship from the ABAC Foundation to attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College during the 2012-13 academic year.

Rahn, a forest technology major, received the Mary P. Jones scholarship. He is a graduate of Effingham County High School.

Fall semester classes begin at ABAC on Aug. 13.
