Rotary Club sponsors speech contest

Michaela Lariscy, a student at South Effingham High School, won the annual Rotary Speech Contest held at New Ebenezer Retreat Center on Tuesday.

Students were judged on their appearance, presentation of the speech and content.

Micah Christensen from SEHS was second, and Amanda Starling of SEHS was third. The ECHS students who participated were Taylor Robinson, Emily Horton and JoJo Pollard.
