Fourth graders at Springfield Elementary School posed throughout the halls dressed as historical figures they have researched for several weeks for a wax museum project.
As visitors stood in front of the characters, they came to life and gave a short biography of their character before becoming “frozen” again. There were four groups of characters to represent: famous people of the American Revolution, Famous African Americans and Native Americans, U.S. history until 1860, as well as a skit by Kim Brantley’s class about the American Revolution.
