Wright earns masters from Walden

Amanda Zahrt Wright of Clyo received her master’s degree from Walden University, on May 12, with a 4.0 GPA. The coursework for the master’s degree focused primarily on reading and literacy.

Wright is a 2000 graduate of Effingham County High School and received a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Georgia Southern University in 2004. She is currently teaching first grade at Springfield Elementary School.

She is married to Dennis Christian Wright Jr. and has a son, Dennis Christian Wright III. She is the daughter of Frank and Debbie Zahrt of Guyton and granddaughter of Claude and Betty Sanks of Savannah, Don and Doris Hertzberg, and Rose and the late Dr. Frank H. Zahrt of La Porte, Ind.

She has three brothers, Marc and Dusty Zahrt of Guyton and Frank Zahrt III of Orlando, Fla.

Effingham College and Career Academy and its partner Savannah Technical College celebrated four students - Ben Bothwell, Caleb Coburn, Immanual Jackson and Alex Smith, who earned positions at Gulfstream Aerospace.
Effingham College and Career Academy (ECCA), in partnership with Savannah Technical College, hosted a signing ceremony today to honor four graduating students who have completed the Gulfstream Aviation Pathway and officially signed employment agreements with Gulfstream Aerospace.
