Young leaders from Effingham County High School are part of the Effingham Family Connection, Communities in Schools, Youth Advisory Council.

The youth are working on making teens aware of the negative effects of drugs on individuals, families and communities. They took part in the Effingham Day at the Capitol on Jan. 25.

The student leaders got the opportunity to see Georgia’s House and Senate lawmaking bodies in action.
