Mr. and Mrs. David Aids of Rincon are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Elaine, to Christopher Chad Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Turner of Rincon.

Ms. Aids, a graduate of the University of South Carolina Beaufort, is an aircraft records specialist at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah.

Mr. Turner is a graduate of Savannah Technical College and is a CNC machinist at Firth Rixson Forgings, LLC, in Midway.

An evening wedding is planned for March 3, 2012.
